Remember when I was going to post more pictures of our Cambria vacation in September? Well, I forgot to upload them to my computer. So, when I was ready to upload them, they got deleted from the camera. :) So, since they are on my dear mother's computer, I will post some more now like I said I would ;D

Time is Short

For one of the Bible studies I attend, we are reading Francis Chan's book called "Crazy Love" and after reading the beginning of it and part of chapter two, it is one I will keep going back to after finishing it.

When I was reading the book, my mind was going in many directions. "How am I spending my time? Am I truly glorifying God?" "Do I love Him enough to realize Who He is and how He loves me?" "Do I trust Him for the plans He has for me or am I Worrying?"

I like getting things done and accomplished, but then I stress out when I have so much to do. Then I worry. Stress and worry. Ooo, I do not like them, but I still do them! Francis Chan brought me back to see that this life is not about poor me; it is about the I AM Who is seated on the Throne, with the train of His robe filling the temple with glory and the twenty-four elders praising God: "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is the Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come." Is my perspective of life correct? Am I continuing to surrender my worries and stress to the One Who will never, ever leave nor forsake me? Sadly, I sign up for the worry run and stress out in the end. Run the race. Finish the course. Keep the faith. The following video is from Francis Chan and he mentions it in the book as well.

I am free for the moment

I just sent in my final draft of paper #4 to my English Professor and have a quick moment to post a video of Elizabeth that is so cute! She is so, so sweet in this one and I think about six months old in the video? I am not sure on the age, but anyway, a video worth seeing to boost some laughs! :D

I am beginning to get excited about Christmas! Singing songs, putting up lights and maybe a tree, especially seeing Christmas through Elizabeth--through the eyes of a child. :) However, the true meaning of Christmas is JESUS--the Son of God who was born in manger to save the world.

Quick, quick update

Alright, I wanted to update my dear followers on how my brother is doing, AND he has been well since Tuesday. :) Here is a link to a post he wrote on updating everyone on his blog!

I know I have not typed out some good posts lately like I used to do. I have been working my best on school (College Algebra and English 103) and helping with Elizabeth, etc.

However, once everything kinda slows down with school, I will make sure I catch up on my postin'! ;D

God bless each one of you and the Matched Quotation may not come until next week, because my Great-Grandma passed away awhile ago, and the family is getting together for a memorial service this weekend. I do miss her, but rejoicing that she loved her Lord and Savior so much and accepted Him into her heart. She is with Jesus, face-to-face!

On the Other Hand

This is the news--good and bad. I am much, much better. Thank you all for your prayers and comments! On the other hand, Joshua is sick. : ( So, I would really appreciate it if you could pray for him to get better soon.

 He would appreciate the prayers as well.
